Our dedicated team is passionate about inspiring and empowering the children in our care, promoting a sense of self-worth, security and trust in a fun-loving and motivating environment.
The emphasis is on having fun, feeling safe and positive learning with child-orientated play materials that ignite curiosity and inspire a love of learning. In this way the children are able to relax, enjoy learning and engage readily and meaningfully in the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

My name is Tracey and I have worked with children for over 21 years. I have always known I wanted to work with children and studied childcare in secondary school, having my first nursery experience through the school’s attached nursery. Following this I moved to Kingston College of F.E. to do the City and Guilds of London Institute where I acquired the certificate for the foundation course (community care and studies). This involved working at Grand Avenue primary and nursery school in Berrylands.
I received my NNEB qualification in 1993. I have worked in various settings with children from 2-5 years of age. I have been with the setting since 2012 (which I love with a passion). It is such a happy, caring environment and lots of fun. The children are very happy here and I love watching them develop in the time they spend with us. I love singing, reading stories and all the arts and crafts activities that we do together.
I joined Farthings in 2021, being a mother of two children I have many years of experience and also have volunteered for the last 8 years in their primary school. I totally believe in team work and happy energy which is something I bring to my role. I have started my apprenticeship in Early Years Educator in level 3 and am Paediatric First Aid Trained
