Fee's, Funding and Opening Times
Funding Accepted
We accept 15 and 30 hours funding for 9 months onwards as well as Tax-free funding. We also offer 10% discount to Blue Light Card Holders and Sibling discount is offered.
Opening Times
We are currently open for 2 sessions, 08:30-15:30 and 08:30-17:30. We operate Term Time hours for funded children but are also open 50 Weeks of the year for weeks not covered by funding.
Fee's
Children are currently entitled to up to 30 hours per week of Free Early Education (FEE) funded by Surrey County Council, commencing the term after the child turns three, we also welcome FEET funded children and working parent entitlement for 2 year olds.
We are sure that you would not want us to reduce the number of staff at Farthings or compromise the quality of excellence that we strive for and, therefore, once the children are eligible to receive funding, we will be asking parents to pay for
consumables that could not be achieved without.
The additional charges contribute to our ‘Quality Premium’ which is our commitment to you to always offer:
· Higher than the minimum staff to child ratio
· Higher than the minimum practitioner qualifications
· Higher than the minimum practitioner training
· Your child’s ‘Learning Profiles’ which will include quality observations, play plan targets and colour photographs.
Also, our other additional charges (shown on our invoices as consumables) include the following:
· Healthy snack food
· Cooking / baking ingredients and resources
· Craft supplies
· Sensory / messy play resources
· Personal care consumables
· Additional activities such as hatching chicks and butterflies
